The interior has a butterfly lining that covers the upper ¼ of the back and makes it easier to slip the sport coat on and off. Made in Italy from a pique fabric, this is a sophisticated, warm weather upgrade to a navy blue blazer. (The open weave of pique is a gift on hot days). The Italian knit sport coat is my new wardrobe staple, replacing my navy blazer. Having a slightly bulky build, I ordered a size larger and had the sleeves shortened for a perfect fit. Beautiful fabric, beautiful drape. However fits smaller than the Navy version. Also wish this came in double breasted.

I bought this coat in Faded Surplus (42R- my normal size) and loved the fabric and fit so ordered another one in black. Based on some of the comments here about it running small I ordered the black in 44 R. It was too big.
Exchanged it for 42R and fit was spot on and true to size in black as well.
