The Japanese nylon exterior is water repellent, with a quilted duck down clocking in at 700 fill power (ie. super warm, but not too bulky). Fill, if you were wondering, measures how many cubic inches of loft a single ounce of down produces — the higher the fill, the greater the insulating efficiency. Aside from packing serious heat, our Mid Down Parka is loaded with old-school design details, including two oversized patch-and-flap pockets with hidden hand warmer pockets and a stand collar at the hood (to shut the cold out).
