These Camp Shorts are crafted from a military-inspired twill made by the experts at Tollegno mill in Italy. Tollegno 1900 (founded in its eponymous year) oversees its entire production chain — from raw materials to spinning to weaving — in pursuit of continuing the Biellese textile tradition. Though they’re shorts, the weight of the fabric is heavy enough that these make for an excellent transitional style; try them in the cooler months with a pair of boots and a zip-up sweater. They’re cut with an oversized but approachable fit, and have a comfortable elastic waist with a concealable drawcord. One extra-special design detail: the “hidden” patch pockets, which fit within the double-needle seam running down the front of the shorts.
