Tucked away in the heart of the Alps, the family-run Tessuti di Sondrio mill was founded in 1895 and is one of Italy’s most revered cotton fabric weavers. Ripstop is a military innovation, often used in uniforms and parachutes — it’s woven using a special technique that creates a fine crosshatch pattern, making it both lightweight and incredibly resistant to tearing. Both modern and rugged, it features a camp collar, gusseted chest pockets, and durable double-needle construction throughout.
