Our new lace-up Tuscan Trainer is Todd’s reimagining of classic 70s and 80s runners. He took the athletic silhouette and elevated it in premium materials — the Italian nylon and suede uppers are set off by Vachetta leather accents, all cut with raw edges for a soft, deconstructed look. Made in Italy and hand-finished, it features cut and buff midsoles in two different EVA colors, with improved flex grooves in the forefoot for comfort. The rubber outsole has a personalized nub design for better traction, while the tongue sports a reflective finish. Tuscan Trainer is awesome and the colors are perfect. The footbed could be a little softer. Overall buying a 2nd pair.
Great looking sneaker, that has an athletic profile, made with rich materials. The Tuscan Trainer is a solid option for a casual dinner in the city or to put with a sport coat when you want to dress it up a bit, without feeling to formal. It's a comfortable shoe and is roomy, so if you have a narrow foot like I do, works better with a slightly thicker pair of socks. Nice addition to the shoe collection.
