This luxurious Sweater Jacket is knit from a soft Italian mohair blend, brushed twice for a plush, extra-fuzzy look and feel. The yarn is spacedyed, a technique which involves taking a single yarn and dyeing sections of it differently, rather than twisting together two solid colors — it creates the subtle variegated stripes seen here. The silhouette is relaxed enough for easy layering, with ribbing at the cuffs, collar and hem to help it keep its shape.

Runway Collection:
La Buena Vida | Vintage Style

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

    Softest knit sweater by handfeel

I love the fabric but I should return for a size down. The sleeve length is a little too long and the cylinder is about two sizes too big. I usually look fine in a shirt that's a little too big around for the sake of having arms long enough for me. No issue when shirts are tailored, but sweaters like these can't be. I think it would look good draping down onto a scrawny frame being oversized and proportionally boxy (relatively high mid-riff cut) but my filled-out torso looks goofy in it buttoned as I have just too much body under it. I want to love it but I don't, and i have resorted to wearing it with the front open folding the plackets open to the side. I may spot sew them into place like this or I may return for a size down at the risk of the midriff being even higher.
