This collegiate model is based on an original American shoe known as the 'penny loafer'. It owes its name to the penny which was often inserted inside a slot fitted into the shoe's barrette to give the shoe a more stylish touch. It comes furnished with a leather sole.

Runway Collection:
La Buena Vida | Vintage Style

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

Great loafers, be careful of sizing.

These loafers are amazing. I have narrow feet but I still find most loafers are to tight upfront. These however have a nice amount of room upfront making them very comfortable. However be careful of sizing I’m an eleven in New Balance. So I went off the listing and went a half size lower and it was still way oversized. So I reordered a nine and a half and it was perfect!

Love these shoes - careful with sizing

All the reviews helped me when ordering these shoes. I wear an American 11.5 and I ended up ordering the 9.5 Perfect fit.

Careful with Sizing - Quality Awesome Loafer

Careful on the sizing; details follow. These shoes are awesome: great construction, styling, fit, beautiful leather, and all. They’re not as low cut as some loafers which I prefer. Showing too much top foot in a dressy shoe looks odd to me. I’m confident they’re break in nicely. The profile (not fit) reads wider than other penny loafer styles which I also like. I wanted a loafer but not a narrow low cut slipper.

The sizing!!! Someone else wrote this and I didn’t abide. I’m a size 10.5 in vans, nikes, cowboy boots, and wingtips. I wear an 11 in hiking boots and running shoes. I read the paraboot loafer runs large so I started with a 10. Way too big so exchanged for a 9. Still too big so exchanged for 8.5 which fit like a glove.

    Great shoes, watch the sizing

Loved these shoes in the end, exactly what I wanted. HOWEVER, I had to exchange them twice to get the right size. I normally wear a size 10.5 US, and read that these run big so I ordered a 10. The size that ended up fitting though was a size 8. So just beware they run very big.
