This sweatshirt is the definition of what Todd calls a “luxe essential,” a go-to that he’s refreshed with an elevated fabric, neutral colors, and sophisticated design details. In this particular case, it’s made from a wonderfully soft cotton-and-camel mix — the camel gives it a softer, more lustrous look and feel than traditional wool. Inspired by vintage athletic styles, this timeless crewneck silhouette is complemented by traditional details like a double-layered hem and cuffs and a ribbed “dorito” at the neck.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

The shirts in La Buena Vida are crafted from carefully sourced fabrics, woven using heritage techniques at some of the world’s finest mills (like delicate voile, made from cotton, linen, and ramie and woven in Italy and India) and feature embroidered details.

Great fit and comfortable
Beautiful, soft fabric. Size is off. Says it's "slim fit" but is giant on me. I guess one of the ladies in my life will be wearing this one...
My limited review is due to price. Understood this incorporates some expensive fabrics, but it doesn't seem to translate through just on looks. Sweatshirt is incredibly soft, well made, but the inside feels more like a Patagonia fleece (not a terrible thing, just not $$$) than an expensive Italian garment. Keep up the good work TS, but this one is just not in line with price IMO.
Very basic and not all that soft or comfortable. I don’t like how the neck fits. If it wasn’t final sale I would have retuned. That said I have worn it out once already and it will certainly be part of my wardrobe, just not thrilled with the value.
