Fantastic linen quality for warmer temperatures
I have an ever growing collection of Gurkha trousers from TS and this one is yet another awesome addition. I love that the linen fabric isn't paper thin, but isn't so heavy of a weight that it can feel overwhelming in the Texas summer heat. The pinstripes aren't so obvious, but give the sand-ish colour of the fabric a nice complement.
Two small points: The trousers are actually made in Portugal according to the tag, which isn't what the online product description states. Additionally, I personally recommend you purchase 2 sizes above your typical waist size (which is what I've done with all my Gurkhas). The cut is somewhat tapered, but because these are meant to be worn at the actual waist with their high-rise nature, ordering 2 sizes up, then getting them tailored, will allow the legs to have room to breathe and for the fabric to "drape/flow* better.
