Soft fabric , nice fit , great color
I am happy with the straight fit of these chinos, even if I would prefer less of the mild taper (or sculpting, as I call it) that is currently in vogue and which begins in the thighs. The color is a pleasant, almost light periwinkle, IMHO, which manages to be unique for this avid "color collector." The fit is true and they are very comfortable. My only other observation is that I do not believe the twill fabric is as good as what I am used to from 20 years ago. I am used to silkier, smoother, probably denser, cotton twill, but this isn't to say these chinos are not nice overall.
These are perfect for me. I can wear them with my bankers blazer, collared shirt and tie, or a tee-shirt. Love the colour, and the fit is true.
