Our Raffia Sandal is handcrafted by artisans in Tuscany using traditional techniques. The footbed is made from Italian leather, with a rubber top lift for better traction — the double crossed straps are made from Italian raffia, which gives this sandal an artisanal look. Had my eyes on these for months and months. Finally pulled the trigger and am glad I did. First, there is more cushioning on the sole than what it appears. Second, the Raffia Crossover is unique and the Italian look is something worth having. Don't see this around much at all. Very happy with this purchase.
