Ours is made from combed cotton, which is softer than conventional cotton (and less prone to pilling). It has a smooth, fine handfeel, the right amount of stretch and is reactive garment-dyed for rich, even color that won't fade. Shirt is a nicely fitted without being too tight and is a good length, not too short and not too long. I just wish it came in a light grey color and 100% cotton. I really miss the light grey color variant they used to carry for sweatpants and sweatshirts. Hoping they bring it back.
Not a fan of the black tag on the bottom but willing to live with it since it fits well.
I bought this, knowing it was made in LA to support the US textile makers. This is a high quality shirt that I fully expect from TS and know will last for 5 years or more and is so worth every penny.
