I was deceived by the product photo. I thought I was getting a wider belt that would go with jeans with a contemporary sized buckle. What I got was a narrow belt with small buckle. Not worth the price for this style of belt. I wish they offered it in different widths.

While this is not a bad product, I too was among those that thought the proportions were bigger than they are. Be sure to double check the dimension. This is truly a "skinny tie" of belts.
