Italian Peak Lapel Hopsack Sport Coat in Grey

Good quality, but size down.

Nice jacket. Clean cut. Good fit. Fabric is rough.

I have a number of traditional suits and sport coats and wanted something a little more unique (“swervy”?)

I thought about some DB suits and blazers, but as much as I love them (Wythe, I’m talking to you), I didn’t see much opportunity to wear them. I work in a professional environment with mostly business or business casual. That would be just “too much”.

This coat fits the bill. Just unique enough and doesn’t scream attention.

Sizing— size down.

For reference, I’m split in TS suits. On fitted/slimmer coats, I’m a 40R. On Sutton suits, I’m a 38R. I went 38R with this one and it works. Just a little baggier in the shoulders, sleeves and body to make it look intentional. I would have been SWIMMING in a 40R. It’s definitely longer, and baggier in most places over the Sutton suit.

Quality of the material is exceptional. Sport Coat fits perfectly. Doesn't require any tailoring. Also purchased the matching plaid dress pants. Makes for a great outfit. Couldn't be happier. Thx.
