Our denim comes in distinct categories (Stretch, Selvedge and Craft), for the same reason that sometimes you want an artisanal sipping whiskey, and others a draft beer. The White Selvedge Denim is part of our Craft offering. This is a limited-edition jean made from imported Japanese denim that comes to us from a boutique mill in the Okayama prefecture where the denim was woven on an old-shuttle loom. And the jean is loaded with quality details including a shank button fly, oxidized rivets, chain-stitched embroidery, a selvedge locker loop inside the back waist and selvedge outseams. So when you turn up the cuff, you’ll see the giveaway ticking on the edge. The only hint of modernity is a 1% lycra component because a hint of stretch can be handy in a warm-weather jean particularly when you might find yourself hopping on a bike for a quick ride to your next event.
Made from cotton, dyed with real indigo and woven on vintage shuttle looms, our Premium Japanese Denim is crafted in small batches at a family-run mill in Okayama Prefecture, the “birthplace of denim.”
if you are looking for white white then youll be disappointed as these are off white. Creamy white. Otherwise, great as most of the TS sells. ✌️
I like the white color. And these might be some of the best fitting jeans I’ve worn. The amount of stretch is perfect. They still have the feel and look that denim should have while having a comfortable stretch.
The biggest issue with these, and I only know because my girlfriend told me, is that you can see the color and any pattern on your underwear above and between the back pockets. It is what is, you need to wear white underwear with these. It’s not a problem on the front of the jeans. I don’t get why you couldn’t have added a liner or thicker material to solve this.
The only other issue is a pretty common one across brands. I have a narrow waist and like to wear jeans without a belt if I want and without them sagging. I’m wearing 28/32s. It’s hard to get your hands into the front pockets. The opening shouldn’t be changing proportionally to the waist size. For the most part, the pockets should be all the sane size unless you’re ordering a very large waist. The seat could also use slightly more room too if I’m being picky.
Overall great jeans! Too bad I can’t wear fun underwear without the entire bar knowing…
Hands down the best jeans I've ever owned. A true slim fit at 6'1 172 lbs I wear a 32x32. These are a tad loose in the waist but are fine. My GF loves them also. They are tight on me in the thighs and calf so for some they may be too tight. Great workmanship not too heavy.

The fabric is beautiful, and the fit is perfect. I'm 63, in good shape and slim, and these trousers fit perfectly, with good lines, and never baggy or shapeless.
These jeans fir like a glove and I’m a tough fit, as well as, picky! Might just be the best fitting jeans I’ve purchased!
