Sherpa fleece was first developed as a synthetic alternative to shearling that was lighter, stronger and quicker to dry than the original. We searched the world over for the best possible version and found it at an Italian mill. Here, Todd used both sides of the fleece to create a tonal patchwork effect (think textural color-blocking) in an update on the classic. The design details — oversized twill chest pockets, a two-way zipper, and stretch binding to cinch in the hem and cuffs — complete this modern take on vintage mountaineering gear.
