Say hello to your new do-anything, go-anywhere jacket. The cruiser takes its name from the term “timber cruiser,” which referred to the workers who would scout forests ahead of logging crews. It was popular for being lightweight but tough, and waterproof enough to stave off the wet weather of the Pacific Northwest, where most of the timber cruisers worked. Our take on this classic style features a sturdy, waxed cotton fabric from British Millerain, who supplied the materials for some of those first jackets over a century ago. It features plenty of pockets (four at the front, two inside, and a “game pocket” at the back) and a soft, corduroy-lined collar. The fuller fit is perfect over a chunky sweater or turtleneck.

The blue oil coat is absolutely stunning. It is on my top three list or time of coats I’ve acquired. I can’t wait to wear it. I am very happy with it, and I was just more than pleased when I pulled it out of the box and saw I will meet and I’ll gorgeous it was.

The coat is well made and the medium fits nicely (5’-10”/185lbs). The coat is substantial without being bulky. There are many useful features such as ample pockets and I particularly like the button closure and cuffs.
This jacket is durable, has a great style and is warmer than expected.
Really well thought out jacket. Have looked at many! Filson has nothing over this jacket! Anyway great fit, great look. I'm 6ft 178lb Medium..
