Our Linen Field Vest is a versatile layer, crafted from a crisp, cool, dry linen that’s easy to dress up or down. The linen comes to us from Baird McNutt, a legendary Irish linen mill. Design details include two slanted welt pockets at the front and an adjustable belt at the back for the perfect fit. This looks excellent worn open over a tee with a pair of relaxed pants, or buttoned-up and layered under the matching Linen Field Jacket as a twist on the classic 3-piece suit.
The Baird family business was established in 1912 on Ireland’s picturesque northwest coast in Donegal. Today, Baird McNutt produces some of the world’s finest linen out of the Shankbridge dyeing and finishing works, which were originally built in 1798.
