Alden Unlined Suede Plain Toe Blucher In Snuff

Decent shoe, the build quality is above average and the leather is supreme. No break in required is real. I’m excited to see what happens when the foot bed does actually break in. There was a spot of glue in the suede from manufacturing I can assume, kinda sucks because it won’t come off, but as long as you’re lucky and get a pair that doesn’t have that you’ll be happy

The shoe itself is nice and good quality. Exactly what you would expect from Alden. The fit is a bit awkward though. I wear a well fitting all weather Alden with Crepes sole in a size 8 E. Since it is only wide D available here I ordered size 8.5 and 9. Both were way too small. Size 9 would have fitted length wise but was too narrow. So, I fortunately, I had to send both back.

Bought these after contemplating getting them for a few months. The snuff suede looks great and they're really comfortable.
