1985 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day Date Watch

Often referred to as the "President," this solid 18K 3-color gold watch features a factory special dial known as the “Jubilee,” with diamond markers — it wasthe Rolex to own in the 90s. The Rolex Day Date is the ultimate status symbol, worn by world leaders, titans of industry and celebrities. This is one of the first “double quick” date setting examples, and features a sapphire crystal. It’s in superb original condition: the case is unpolished, with razor sharp edges. The original Rolex President bracelet is very tight, with little to no sag at all; additional links can be arranged if needed. The special Rolex Jubilee dial (also untouched), features a “ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX” pattern engraved on its entire surface, similar to a Louis Vuitton monogram — and in keeping with the decadence of the 80s. This dial is a "T Swiss T" dial, meaning it features Tritium luminous material, as do the hands. All the original Tritium lume plots are intact, and have toned to a very light ivory color. Rare today and no longer in production, this is an exceptional watch, especially in condition such as this, including its original Jubilee box.
