Following close behind tweed, cord and flannel in the fall classics lineup: the cable knit sweater. Todd’s given that fairly thick stitch — introduced in Ireland in the early 20th century by fishermen — a modern update by taking the traditional centerpiece cable and scaling it down, before adding clean Jersey stitch lines alongside it. And, rather than being made from heavy, scratchy wool yarn, this is knit from a soft and fuzzy mohair blend for a chic, airy look and feel.
