Our denim comes in distinct tiers (Stretch, Selvedge and Small Batch), for the same reason that sometimes you want an artisanal sipping whiskey, and others a draft beer. The Slim Fit Destroyed Jean has all the quality and vintage-inspired design details of our Selvedge jeans but in a unique Stretch Fabric thatwill convert even the most resolute denim purist. (Try it, you’ll like it).The Destroyed Jean is in a mid-blue wash but baked and sanded to simulate the effect of years of natural wear-and-tear with abrasions and holes popping up where they typically would. Classic details include antique copper rivets, chain stitching on the coin pocket, a suede-embossed patch on the back and TS embroidery on the wearer’s right side. This is a perfectwarm-weather jean.

So I've bought these in slim fit stretch in multiple washes. It started with the Medium Indigo wash and they fit perfectly so I thought maybe I found my new favorite jeans. Not so fast...the fit varies pretty widely not only by wash, but even in the same wash. I'm a 34/32 and those first pair were a perfect slim fit. Next I went with the faded wash and ordered 2 pair to see if one of those 2 would fit just right. One was so roomy that I could easily slide them off without unzipping or unbottoning. The other was still a little loose so I returned them both. I went to the destroyed wash and did the same...one of the 3 pairs I ordered fit perfectly and I sent the other 2 back as they were too loose. I tried again with the faded wash during the sale and I found 1 out of 3 that fit almost perfect and since I liked the wash I decided to keep that one and send the other 2 back. I ordered 2 of the indigo and BOTH I could barely get either on. Both going back today.
Now the quality of all these jeans are great...the length is perfect...the washes I kept were all perfect. I can't for the life of me figure out how you can have so much variance in the fit between washes and even in the same wash. I'd suggest you order at least 3 of the same size you think you are to have a chance at getting a fit you like...but I think I've bought my last pair since I'm just tired of having to do this. Your mileage may vary.
Snyder jeans are well-made & cut well, as are just about everything from them. I wish they’d find alternative sourcing. Chinese made - even “responsibly sourced in China” - is not where I want to buy from in 2022. In any case, the jeans are cool & look like they’ll last.
Great look and feel. Great quality. I'm a 31 waist in my other TS purchases. I returned these for a 30 and the fit is better. Consider sizing down.
Love these pants– they fit great and look great! They have a really soft touch to the denim. You can also tell the quality of the pants just looking at the stitching throughout.
My only complaint– I normally wear a 30" / 31" waist and a 32" inseam (175lb 6'2"). The 31x32 was far too short and I couldn't button them up. I returned the pants for the 32x34 and they fit perfectly. I don't know if these pants run small or I've just gotten fat and stretched out my old pants but maybe you want to consider sizing up.
