I purchased these pants with the understanding that Todd Snyder Products would be elevated, With quality fabrics and construction. The chinos looked and felt very middle of the road quality, On par with Banana Republic or Express. The price on sale was not worth the cost.
The name says it all, favorite chino. These are by far my favorite chino I’ve owned. That is when it comes the material and look of the chino. The fit however is misleading. Pictures on model look like a straight fit and they are named a straight fit, but they fit like a slim fit. If only the fit was actually a straight fit these would be a five star quality chino!

The Favorite Chino is designed with a straight fit through the hip and thigh, tapering slightly from the knee down. This silhouette may appear slimmer compared to a relaxed fit, which we do offer in this colorway should you want to try it.

The fabric is terrific, and it is more luxurious. The trim, design, style, terrific, the extra material at the leg hem, so useful. Note that this color, Desert Beige arrived fitting perfectly, though I would prefer even more Slim, but the Black arrived too baggier in hip for me. So, there is variation. Previously, the best Chino I had was from Ralph Lauren LL collection, and this beats it by a mile.
Hard to find the heavier fabric in an old school cut.
Very High Quality, Maybe should have sized up - went with my usual 31-30 and they feel a bit tight around my thighs (even with very skinny legs) as I walk around the city.
