        The perfect coat combines elements of military dress with classical tailoring, so that the wearer stays warm and dry while looking stylish. Case in point: this Solid Peacoat. The silhouette is based on the classic navy reefer jacket from a century ago — the large lapels could be popped up and closed with a throat latch to seal a mariner in from the elements. Todd has kept these old-school elements and then given everything a luxe upgrade in a chic Italian fabric made from a soft, plush blend of wool and alpaca. Design details include two flap pockets at the wearer’s waist and then two slanted, hand-warmer pockets closer to the chest, as well as tabs at the sleeves that allow the wearer to adjust the aperture of the cuffs.

          My second Peacoat

          I have this same coat from Todd Snyder in black and I had to get the one in navy. I wear it all the time, from when the weather starts to turn cool in the fall through the winter. You can dress it up or down. It’s my go to !! Great customer service. When I go to New York I always have to stop in one of their stores to see what’s new.

          Fantastic Coat

          Absolutely love this coat. It is of a quality that I would expect from TS and extremely stylish to boot. As others have recommended, would definitely recommend sizing down. I am normally XXL and bought an XL coat which fits like a glove even over sweaters/sweatshirts.

          Lovely coat

          Lovely Alpaca/wool blend with soft hand. Definitely not a knock around down at the loading dock boiled wool pea coat. More refined. Could definitely work for evening out. Has hand warmer pockets in addition to two traditional front pockets which is the classic design. Oversized collar turns up nicely with functioning throat latch. Inner breast pocket with zipper and button flap pocket. Only partially lined upper back. A little unusual for a winter coat. Lining is an interesting olive color. Inner fabric turn back edges finished with piping which is nice touch. The sleeves are lined. I don't consider the coat oversized. I am 5'10" 140 lbs and ordered a medium. Perfect for wearing over a chunky sweater. If you plan to wear with just a t-shirt then maybe size down but for winter layering the medium is perfect.

          Simply the Best

          This is the coolest peacoat I've seen in ages. It's incredibly warm, thanks to the alpaca wool, and always features a clean design aesthetic. I've been a little disappointed with recent TS purchases due to what seems like inflated sizing. But this fits me perfectly if my typical size. And it was fantastic to get it on sale. Thank you for including all items in the sale! If you're on the fence about this one, it's worth it.
