An Ivy icon, the button-down collar was actually originally an element of English sportswear — 19th-century polo players in England had their collars sewn down to stop them from flapping in the wind.         The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.
