The Paraboot Coraux Loafer features Blake stitching, also known as the sewn-through technique. In 1858 the young shoemaker Lyman Reed Blake invented this process while working for the sewing machine manufacturer Singer. It brought greater lightness to the shoe as well as elegance and flexibility.

Runway Collection:
La Buena Vida | Vintage Style

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

    The best

Best pair of shoes I have owned. High quality construction, beautiful rich color, comfortable, love the rubber sole that makes it more casual. They do run about 2 sizes larger (I wear an 11 US and bought a 9 here, which may be European sizing).

Gorgeous loafer, but sizing is an issue

I ordered two sizes: UK 8 and UK 8.5. Neither of which correlate to my US size (10.5 - 11). The 8.5 was too short from heel to toe; my toes kept pressing into the front of the shoe. However, the 8.5 feels too wide. If I don't wear socks with these, the heel slaps like a flip flop.

It's frustrating that there aren't more loafers with this sole style (almost every other kind has a heel lift, like with a dress shoe, which feels too formal for casual outings). The Paraboot Coraux looks great, but for the price, they don't feel up to snuff.

    Hi Sam,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on our Paraboot Coraux Loafer.

We understand your frustration with the sizing challenges you experienced. European sizing can indeed vary significantly from US sizing, and we acknowledge that finding the right fit between length and width can be particularly challenging with this style. While Paraboot crafts their loafers with traditional European lasts that may fit differently than expected, we recognize that the sizing discrepancy between the UK 8 and 8.5 didn't provide the ideal solution for your foot shape.

We appreciate your insights about the sole style and understand the appeal of this particular design for casual wear. The Paraboot Coraux is indeed crafted with a distinctive sole construction that sets it apart from more formal loafer styles.

If the loafers still have their original tags attached and are unworn, our team at [email protected] would be happy to assist with a return.

    Sizing is drastically off

Nice moc style penny loafer. However, the sizing is drastically off. I heeded the warnings in other reviews and ended up sizing down by one and a half and they are still too large.
