Fleece was first developed as a synthetic alternative to shearling that was lighter, stronger and quicker to dry than the original. We searched the world over for the best possible version and found it — soft, warm and super plush, it features an embroidered mountain laurel motif; Woolrich was founded in Pennsylvania, and the mountain laurel is the state flower. First off, I am a 30” waist and got an XS. Secondly, these are some of the most unique shorts I’ve ever seen. The sherpa color is accurate to the images and very soft. I thought they may be bulky because of the sherpa, but they’re not at all. I reco sizing down.
Apart from exquisite workmanship these are very warm, and perfect for cool and cold temperatures. I'd sworn off shorts since my rugby and alpine hiking days ended, but for these I made an exception. I also have the jacket. Top shelf
These are an amazing statement piece; warm, comfy as hell, and beautiful. Be forewarned these are not demure but they are hella cutesy.
