Inspired by all the classic elements of a chino, our design team created the Madison Suit Pant as a casual take on the tailored, pleated trouser. A natural waist leads to a relaxed fit through the hips and thighs before tapering at the calf. The fabric is an Italian linen herringbone with just the right amount of texture, in the perfect, wear-with-anything shade of dove gray. Pull on a pair to elevate a humble hoodie or tee, or top with a dress shirt and a sport coat (like the matching suit jacket, perhaps) for a more formal look.
The fabric for these pants comes from Subalpino. Founded in 1975, Subalpino is a family-owned mill in the Northern Italian region of Piedmont with an unwavering commitment to quality.
Like the prior review said, the sizing runs small on these. I sized up after reading that review and I’m glad I did, but they’re still a bit short. Easy fix with a tailor but still odd. Otherwise, very light and comfortable and go great with the matching jacket or on their own.

Beautiful fabric, color and drape. But sizing is a bit off. I ordered the waist and length that I usually take, but it was tighter and shorter than expected. A little alteration will solve the problem, but I'd appreciate truer sizing.
