These chunky socks are knitted with a rare traditional machine with thick recycled cotton yarn that is often used for hand-knitting. RoToTo always opts for recycled cotton yarn developed by a yarn company based also in Nara Prefecture. Their environment-minded product is made out of cotton waste from spinneries in Japan by re-spinning it with unique techniques. Although the material is more likely to get frayed, the mixed heather color made with two-strand yarn makes dirt and fuzz less visible.

I love this color!

I'm wearing them now. Excellent colorway, especially with blue jeans. Great material and fit. I would highly recommend them.
