A smart style with utilitarian origins, this shirt jacket takes its design cues — like clean lines, a button front and flap chest pockets — from the classic CPO jacket, which is based on a style issued to the U.S. Navy’s Chief Petty Officers in the 1930s. It’s made from an Italian boiled wool fabric that’s been washed for softness, but is still rugged enough to help protect you from the elements. It’s roomy enough for easy layering, and makes the perfect versatile layer; ear it over a tee in the fall and spring, and under a jacket or sweater come winter.

Nice mid weight wool jacket

This is a very nice piece and layers perfectly over a T-shirt for light fall weather and pairs nicely with lighter color chinos. The quality is definitely there like all of the other TS pieces I have. Recommend this jacket in the navy color.

My new favorite

Love this. Great to wear around the office as the temperature drops. Runs a bit large; feel free to size down. Bought in navy. Wish it were available in black and charcoal. Would buy two more.
