New favorite shorts
Bought all 3 colors. These wear like a dream with excellent drape, the wide leg opening allowing for tons of cooling air flow and look great. They're like 90's baggy shorts without being super baggy somehow. Great pattern.
I also bought the grey pair in Japanese cotton jaspe which have a higher MSRP and are made in China but there are significant differences between the construction and the Chinese ones are not nearly as nice even though they are a nice fabric as well. The cotton ones fit a fair bit tighter, and have zero fabric to let out as the seam is sewn directly on the serging. The grey ones are sewn to maximum cost cutting with exposed serging everywhere while these wool ones are properly skirted and tailored.
Biggest problem with TS as a brand imo, can't even trust the same pattern to be the same in the same season. They put a lot of thought into one and then cut every corner possible on the other.
