This unique Garden Jacket is crafted from a premium linen-and-cotton blend from Olmetex — based in Como, Italy, they’ve been setting the standard for technical fabrics since 1954. Durable but lightweight, the jacquard stitch on it gives it the look of an abstract camo (or light filtering through leaves). Bonus: it’s water-repellent, too. Inspired by vintage workwear, it has a longer fit — if you find yourself getting warm, simply un-snap and remove the lower half of the sleeves. Practical details also include plenty of pockets and a vented back yoke.
Gardenheir is a cult favorite lifestyle and gardening brand founded by Alan Calpe and Christopher Crawford, self-described devoted amateur gardeners. With backgrounds in the arts, they bring a creative (and playful) perspective to the work of gardening — the name itself is a play on words, mixing “gardener,” “garden air,” and “garden error,” as well as the idea of being inheritors and stewards of a natural space.

I was so excited when I purchased this jacket on sale on Black Friday, and knowing the brand I wasn't worried about it being final sale. However, once I received the jacket I was extremely underwhelmed. The cut of the jacket is pretty boxy, I normally wear a size large and if I ever end up wearing this I will definitely need to cuff the sleeves and get it taken in. It has a nice weight, however due to the amount of air that gets in through the back and sleeves I'm at a loss of when I would actually wear this as a jacket. Finally, the sleeves. The images are slightly misleading as none of them show that the jacket's sleeves come off or that they are snapped on.
