This classic Point Collar Shirt is made from a lightweight cotton corduroy that’s super fine and soft. Point collars, by the way, are a bit more traditional than spread collars — and they’re actually the same length, but the points themselves are further apart in a spread collar. The clean silhouette here (no chest pocket) is perfect for wearing underneath sport coats and suit jackets.
I first encountered this shirt in a version made by James Perse. I don't know why he discontinued it, it's a fabulous shirt. This one is a very close facsimile, although the Perse shirt's cotton is a little softer. I'm very pleased to have discovered it and have already bought two.
I recently purchased a white Corduroy long sleeve men’s shirt and loved it. I then ordered 2 black Corduroy shirts, believing they were the same, simply a different color. Not so. They were a lighter material and not made with the same quality as my white. Still a decent shirt, just not as nice or what was expected.
Great quality, perfect fit, excellent construction, rich color ! Love it!!!
