Converse Chuck 70 Marquis in Pure Pumice

Like most guys "of a certain age," I grew up wearing Converse All-Stars. So they have a special place in my heart. But the reality is, remembering just how un-cushioned they were -- especially measured against most modern sneakers -- I'm just not gonna be doling out cash for a new pair.

This designer model, though, won me over. Or at least it looked like the upgrade I'd hoped for when viewed on toddsnyder.com. So I took a chance, and now glad I did. These are like pillows for your feet. Not only that but the construction (suede and some kinda synthetic, I think) is absolute top quality. Highly recommended. My only complaint... there should be more models like this to choose from.

Love these shoes!! Very comfortable and stylish as they are unique in design making them my new favorite casual tennis shoe. They can be worn with a nice shirt, sweater as well as with a sweatshirt. I wish Converse would do more of these collaborations as the classic design and stylish flair make them a timeless design.
