The 6-inch Classic Moc is synonymous with Red Wing Heritage. The boot's unmistakable moc toe and Traction Tred outsole form a silhouette that sets the standard by which all others are measured. Dual-toned stitching and archive-inspired leather elevate the iconic silhouette.
The Classic Moc was first made by Red Wing in 1952. In the decades since, it's grown into one of the most beloved lifestyle boots in the world. Initially made for sportspeople, the boot quickly grew into a favorite of farm and factory workers for its long-lasting construction, steady traction and all-day comfort. The Classic Moc's features live on today, as the boot is built with the same pride and process now as it was then. Moc toe construction and the iconic Traction Tred rubber outsoles lead the way. Puritan triple-stitching and the Goodyear welt make this boot a legend in durability.

Fit was fine, leather color was pretty awesome, but the only downside was there were some finishing inconsistencies on both pairs. Some splitting of the moc toe that needed to be fix up a little with leather glue.
I've had my eye on this model since it was released. I am a sucker for green boots and Todd Snyder had them at a great discount during Black Friday sales. These are handmade and you can see some unevenness in the moc toe stitching but not enough to warrant a return. These are solidly constructed boots that will look better as they get beat up so small blemishes are a non issue. I have flipper feet and went true to size to have enough room for my wide forefoot. They are a bit loose with thin socks but perfect with thicker wool socks. If you have normal width feet I'd go down a half size. I love them so far and break in hard been pretty easy.
