Cashmere Spectator Coat in Cream

At this price point I suspect it is almost impossible to find a similar quality 100% cashmere made in Italy Polo coat. The fabric must be 30 oz. It is thick and lush. Even if you could find this thickness of cashmere (which you can't since Mills don't routinely produce this heavy a weave due to low demand) you couldn't get a bespoke coat made for anywhere near this price. The hand is a little spongier than higher end cashmere but at this price point I consider this a minor issue. It's in the classic Polo design. Only difference is absence of an exterior breast pocket (which I consider a positive since they interrupt the lines of the chest) and Polo coats have exterior hip "post box" pockets similar to these but with a little more detail. Besides that, this is a classic Polo coat and a darn good looking one. Love the swelled edges of the full belly peak lapels. This coat has a real swagger. The body and sleeves are fully lined with an interior pocket. I'm pretty sure the buttons are unfortunately plastic (not horn) but that's an easy swap out by any bespoke tailor. The trickiest part is the sizing, especially since currently it's a final sale. If you can't visit a local store to try one on, you will have to gamble. I am a slim 140 lbs about 5' 10". I wear a 38R sport coat (48 European) and pants 31" waist/32" length. I usually wear a Medium, but knowing TS stuff tends to run large I ordered a Small. The Small is perfect.
