An elevated take on a classic utility shirt. Crafted from chamois fabric — which takes its name from a type of antelope in the Alps, speaking to its practical, outdoorsy origins — this shirt is soft but substantial. The midweight cotton fabric comes to us from Portugal; it’s made by weaving a thicker and thinner yarn together for a unique high-low effect. With a slightly roomy fit designed for layering, it looks excellent worn over a long-sleeved tee, one of our Favorite shirts, or a cashmere turtleneck. Workwear detailing includes the double-needle construction and a patch-and-flap chest pocket.
I love the cut and feel of the shirt, I thought the color was misrepresented on the website (and I checked it on a couple different screens to make sure). It is more rusty brown-colored than even remotely red.) Should have bought the green.
The fabric is beautiful. The cut is a bit long but that's intentional. A great, versatile color. This shirt will be in the autumn/winter rotation for the rest of my life.
