The buttons are decorative, but if you were so inclined, you could snip open the hole on the other side to button it shut. It’s made by the experts at Inis Meáin Knitting Company. Founded in 1976, Inis Meáin’s garments are made using the centuries-old techniques of the Aran island it's named after. The family-owned factory specializes in small, impeccably hand-finished runs of authentic, heritage sweaters inspired by traditional workwear.
