The Chuck 70 Marquis was built to raise the bar for comfort and style. This version takes it a step further with a worn-in look inspired by Japanese boro stitching. With a game-changing three-piece sport mesh lining, for minimal heel irritation, innovative CX cushioning, and on-trend colors, this style was made to stand apart.

  • A mix of suede and woven jacquard in the upper has a well-worn look that nods to Japanese Boro stitching
  • CX foam helps provide next-level cushioning
  • Milky-translucent midsole offers monochrome style
  • Mesh lining adds comfort and support
  • Chuck Taylor stitching at the heel nods to the legacy

Better than expected

Like most guys "of a certain age," I grew up wearing Converse All-Stars. So they have a special place in my heart. But the reality is, remembering just how un-cushioned they were -- especially measured against most modern sneakers -- I'm just not gonna be doling out cash for a new pair.

This designer model, though, won me over. Or at least it looked like the upgrade I'd hoped for when viewed on toddsnyder.com. So I took a chance, and now glad I did. These are like pillows for your feet. Not only that but the construction (suede and some kinda synthetic, I think) is absolute top quality. Highly recommended. My only complaint... there should be more models like this to choose from.
