The perfect sport coat to see you through the season. This is our laidback take on a classic blazer: no stuffy padding, no hot lining, only relaxed, rakish charm. It’s made from a soft, Italian wool-and-alpaca blend in a sartorial brown houndstooth. We gave it a triple-shot of sprezzatura with a few details found in Neapolitan tailoring: a natural shoulder, double vents and a chest pocket known as a barchetta (Italian for “little boat”) because it resembles the curve of a skiff. The classic fit makes this a sartorial Swiss Army Knife: try it with a button-down and light chinos or denim and a sweater.
Great pattern, colors and fit! I'm a 42R and it fits like it. For reference, I am 6ft at about 192lbs.

I love this jacket. It fits perfectly and I get compliments every time I wear it. I was shocked, however, that the buttons aren’t functional. I prefer one unbuttoned for a bit of speratuzza and in today’s world, non-functional buttons scream, “off the rack from the department store.” This odd choice cheapens an otherwise great jacket and has stopped me from adding another Madison coat to my closet.
The jacket is a contemporary and stylish take-off of a classic pattern and design. It is elegantly eye-catching and echos fall fashionably. A partial lining may have helped with smoothing the fit.

I like it very much. It is more casual than most of my other jackets, unstructured, but appropriately dressy. It looks great whether worn with jeans or slacks, with or without a tie. It reminds me of similar attire I wore in my youth.
