This is a classic topcoat with a sartorial, Todd Snyder twist. The fabric is an Italian cashmere in a rich, chocolate brown. It’s made using a technique referred to as “splittable,” where the fabric is fused together rather than sewn, which creates a beautiful contiguous line. It features premium detailing, including a classic double-breasted front and a partial lining that puts the expert craftsmanship on full display on the interior. The military-inspired fit is full and oversized, for a chic, on-trend look that layers beautifully. It’s designed to hit below the knee and looks equally good thrown over denim and a sweater as it does paired with trousers and a button-down.
Quite lightweight but still just enough structure to look like a coat. The pockets are surprisingly roomy, thanks I think to the small gusset. Material feels great.
Simple and elegant. The fabric is incredible - soft, plush and pliant. Feels like I'm wearing a soft cardigan more than a hard topcoat.
