3rd pair of these by Alden. Alden makes top quality shoes and boots. Fits like a sock if you size down 1/2. One of the most comfortable dressier casual shoes that I own. Just ordered the two-tone TS/Alden loafer in Milkshake. That will be pair number 4. So, yea, they’re good.

What a fantastic loafer! Too bad I had to return it , size 8 was very roomy especially I plan to wear it without sox. I wish they had my size, but this is a great loafer.
Alden's Unlined Leisure Hand Sewn suede loafers are simply sublime and might just be the best lightweight loafers for effortless three season style. This loafer is built on Alden's Van last, which runs about a half-size larger than your normal U.S. Brannock size in length. Most choose to go a half-size down from that Brannock measurement for sockless/no show fits or true to size if you plan to wear socks. Those with a notably high instep may need to go up in width or have the strap area stretched out a little bit by a local cobbler.
This pair is made with Alden's "dark brown" suede - depending on the specific source of the batch of leather (Stead or Bokay), this shade is sometimes called Humus. It's a lovely warm shade that works well with darker slacks, earth tone chinos, or crispy dark denim. Personally, I've been pairing these with a Shetland sweater, a button-down Oxford, and some Japanese raw denim jeans for an upscale, yet relaxed smart casual vibe. This stock Alden model 6245F has an antique welt and sole edge dressing with a single flex leather outsole for less of a break-in process.
