This reference perfectly captured the essence of Timex from the late 50s. The size is perfect and wears like a dream. Another Timex+TS banger!
Love that it is a mechanical watch. No batteries to worry about and the styling is perfect. The leather band is nice and the leather is very pliable. Only downside is that the face is on the small side. Hard to gauge when it is not displayed on a person. I have a small wrist so it looks OK on me. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish mechanical watch.
I am a vintage watch collector, so the size, simplicity, and look of this watch are exactly like my favorite Rolexes and Omegas from the 50's. I love that about it. I've been wearing it almost every day since it arrived. However, the timekeeping doesn't seem as accurate as 70-year-old watches. I have not necessarily followed the instructions to wind at the same time every day, but my vintage manual watches don't seem to have that need. I need to track the timing for a couple days. But if it's losing or gaining minutes I will return or exchange.
Classic looks, right-sized, can be worn with anything. It's what Timex does best--simple and yet with tons of heritage and style.
I’ve watch, however the accuracy is not good, time goes to fast. I know manual watches in general as the wind gets less, the accuracy normally is about 2-3 secs but this one the seconds goes faster then the actual time.
